Hi-Tech Mold & Tool has mastered the art and science of Plastic Injection Mold Tool Building because it is how we started. Hi-Tech began as a Tool Shop and was pushed into molding by our customers. Great parts begin with a great tool design and a well built mold tool.  Our tooling support is there to help you throughout the manufacturing lifecycle – from design, prototyping and fine-tuning to full-scale manufacturing, maintenance and repair.

Hi-Tech has been building injection mold tooling for over thirty years – from simple to extremely complex. Our in-house tool room employs highly skilled tool makers with over 200 years of combined experience to design and build injection mold tooling. Our team philosophy means you work closely with our Engineers and Program Managers to optimize designs for manufacturability.

Have a program that requires a large amount of molds? Hi-Tech can handle it because we’ve done it before. Multiple molds with a tight deadline? Hi-Tech’s vetted quality tooling partners handle the overflow to keep you on schedule. And we manage our partner-built tools – from design through approval – as though they were built under our own roof. Our partners are simply an extension of our tool room.

If you require off-shore tooling, we’ve got you covered with a trusted partner who has never let us down during our 11-year relationship. With guidance from our home base in the US, we communicate and direct everything, so you don’t have to get involved with the tool build.

While your mold is in production and making parts, we maintain them to optimize performance and prevent unscheduled downtime. We have a dedicated Mold Maintenance Department separate from our tool room that handles cleaning molds, insert changes and repairs. If your repair or modification is significant, Hi-Tech’s tool room is there to make sure we are making the parts you need as quickly as possible.
